These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website Anmol Ghar (“Platform”, “Website”, “we”, “our”, “us”), including any pages, features, tools, services, customer support, and marketplace services provided through it.
By accessing, browsing, registering, purchasing, listing products, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Anmol Ghar is an online marketplace platform where third-party sellers (“Vendors”) list products for sale and customers (“Customers”) purchase products through the Platform.
2. DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of these Terms:
- “Platform” means the Anmol Ghar website and related services.
- “User” includes any visitor, customer, vendor, or registered user.
- “Customer” means a user who purchases products through the Platform.
- “Vendor” / “Seller” means a third-party merchant selling products through the Platform.
- “Product(s)” means goods listed by Vendors.
- “Order” means a Customer’s confirmed purchase request placed through the Platform.
- “Delivery Partner” means any third-party courier/logistics service used to deliver orders.
- “Policies” includes all related policies such as Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, Vendor Policy, etc.
3. PLATFORM ROLE – MARKETPLACE DISCLOSURE
3.1 Anmol Ghar is a marketplace platform. The products listed on the Platform are sold by independent Vendors.
3.2 Unless explicitly mentioned as “Sold by Anmol Ghar”, Anmol Ghar is not the manufacturer, owner, seller, reseller, distributor, or importer of products listed by Vendors.
3.3 Product descriptions, quality, quantity, safety, labeling, warranty, legality, and compliance are primarily the responsibility of the Vendor.
3.4 Anmol Ghar may facilitate:
- order placement
- payments
- customer support
- shipping through third-party logistics
- returns coordination (where applicable)
However, such facilitation does not make Anmol Ghar the seller or manufacturer of Vendor products.
4. ACCEPTANCE OF ELECTRONIC RECORD
These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and do not require physical or digital signatures.
5. ELIGIBILITY
By using the Platform, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old, or
- you are using the Platform under supervision of a parent/guardian.
6. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
6.1 You may need to create an account to place orders or access certain services.
6.2 You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
6.3 You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
6.4 You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
6.5 We may suspend or terminate accounts if we detect:
- fraud or suspicious activity
- false information
- policy violations
- misuse of the Platform
7. USER OBLIGATIONS AND PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You agree that you will not:
- violate any applicable law
- misuse the Platform or attempt unauthorised access
- upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
- scrape, copy, extract, or harvest Platform data
- post abusive, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content
- submit fake reviews or manipulate ratings
- place orders for fraudulent purposes
- misuse refund/return policies
Violation may result in account suspension, order cancellation, and legal action.
8. PRODUCT LISTINGS, INFORMATION AND PRICING
8.1 Product listings are provided by Vendors.
8.2 Anmol Ghar does not guarantee that product descriptions, images, or specifications are always accurate, complete, or error-free.
8.3 Product images are for representation only. Actual product may differ due to packaging updates, lighting, or manufacturing changes.
8.4 Prices, offers, discounts, and availability may change without prior notice.
8.5 In case of an error (wrong price, incorrect stock, wrong listing, etc.), the Platform and/or Vendor may cancel the Order and process refund (if payment was received).
9. ORDER PLACEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
9.1 When you place an Order, it is considered an offer to purchase.
9.2 An Order is confirmed only after:
- successful payment (where applicable), and
- the Vendor accepts/ships the Order.
9.3 Orders may be cancelled before dispatch due to:
- stock unavailability
- pricing errors
- delivery restrictions
- suspicious/fraudulent activity
- policy violations
9.4 If your Order is cancelled after payment, the paid amount will be refunded as per our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy.
10. PAYMENTS
10.1 Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways.
10.2 Anmol Ghar does not store complete card details. Payment data is handled by the payment gateway and your bank.
10.3 Payment failures, delays, chargebacks, or banking issues are subject to gateway/bank timelines.
10.4 If a payment is deducted but Order is not confirmed, the amount will be reversed/refunded as per payment gateway timelines.
11. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
11.1 Shipping is arranged by Anmol Ghar using third-party logistics/delivery partners.
11.2 Delivery timelines shown on the Platform are estimated and may vary due to:
- courier delays
- address issues
- weather conditions
- government restrictions
- festivals/peak seasons
- force majeure events
11.3 Customers must provide accurate delivery address, pin code, and contact number.
11.4 If delivery fails due to wrong/incomplete details, unreachable phone number, or refusal to accept delivery, the Order may be:
- returned to origin, and/or
- cancelled with deductions (shipping charges may not be refundable).
11.5 Risk of loss passes to the Customer upon successful delivery.

12. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
12.1 Return/refund eligibility depends on:
- product category
- vendor policy
- platform policy
- applicable law
12.2 Certain products may be non-returnable including but not limited to hygiene products, innerwear, perishable goods, customised items, etc…
12.3 Returns may be denied if:
- product is used, damaged, or missing parts
- original packaging is missing
- return request is outside the allowed window
- the issue is not covered under policy
12.4 Refunds (where approved) will be processed to the original payment method.
12.5 Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment gateway and bank.

13. PRODUCT LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
13.1 Marketplace Disclaimer:
Anmol Ghar is a marketplace platform connecting Customers and Vendors. Unless explicitly stated as “Sold by Anmol Ghar”, the products are sold by third-party Vendors.
13.2 No Manufacturer Liability:
Anmol Ghar is not the manufacturer of products listed by Vendors and does not control manufacturing, packaging, labeling, storage by Vendors, or quality assurance processes.
13.3 Vendor Responsibility:
The Vendor is solely responsible for:
- product quality and safety
- legal compliance (including labeling and consumer laws)
- manufacturing defects
- expiry dates (if applicable)
- authenticity and non-counterfeit assurance
- warranties and guarantees
- after-sales service (if applicable)
13.4 No Guarantee of Fitness:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anmol Ghar disclaims any warranty that a product will be fit for a particular purpose, unless such warranty is expressly provided by the Vendor/manufacturer.
13.5 Limitation for Product-Related Claims:
In the event of any claim relating to a Product, including but not limited to:
- injury, allergic reaction, adverse health effect
- manufacturing defect
- product misuse
- incorrect labeling or missing statutory disclosures
- counterfeit, expired, or tampered products
- safety hazards
- non-compliance with Indian laws or regulatory standards
the Customer acknowledges and agrees that such claims shall be solely and exclusively between the Customer and the Vendor and/or the manufacturer of the Product.
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Anmol Ghar shall not be liable for any such Product-related claims, including any damages, losses, costs, or injuries arising out of the use, consumption, or reliance on any Product purchased through the Platform.
Anmol Ghar’s role in such cases shall be limited to facilitating communication and support between the Customer and the Vendor and/or manufacturer, and processing returns/refunds strictly as per the applicable Platform policies.
13.6 Customer Responsibility:
Customers must:
- read product details carefully
- verify sizing, ingredients, warnings, usage instructions
- ensure the product suits their requirements
- use products as per manufacturer instructions
13.7 Statutory Rights:
Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable statutory rights available to Customers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable laws.
14. WARRANTIES AND AFTER-SALES SUPPORT
14.1 Warranty (if any) is provided by the Vendor/manufacturer.
14.2 For warranty claims, Customers may be required to:
- contact the Vendor/manufacturer directly, or
- provide proof of purchase.
14.3 Anmol Ghar may assist in communication but does not guarantee warranty approval.
15. REVIEWS, RATINGS, AND USER CONTENT
15.1 If you submit or upload any content (reviews, ratings, feedback, forms, comments, messages, etc.), you confirm that:
- you have the legal right to share it
- it does not violate any law or third-party rights
15.2 Contents must be genuine, relevant, and lawful.
15.3 We may remove contents that are:
- abusive or defamatory
- misleading or spam
- promotional
- unrelated to the product
15.4 By submitting content, you grant Anmol Ghar the right to display and use it for Platform operations and improving the Website.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
16.1 All content on the Website including text, graphics, logos, designs, images, videos, and software belong to Anmol Ghar.
16.2 Vendors retain ownership of their trademarks and product images but grant Anmol Ghar a limited license to display such content for marketplace purposes.
16.3 Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or exploit any Platform content without written permission.
17. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED PRODUCTS
Vendors must not list products that are illegal, restricted, or prohibited under Indian law, including but not limited to:
- narcotics or controlled substances
- weapons, ammunition
- counterfeit or pirated goods
- products violating IPR
- hazardous items prohibited for courier transport
- any item prohibited under applicable laws
We reserve the right to remove such listings, suspend the Vendor accounts and take legal action against the Vendor..
18. VENDOR OBLIGATIONS
Vendors agree to:
- ensure products are genuine and not illegal, restricted, or prohibited under Indian law
- provide correct product listings, pricing, and stock
- ensure products are legal and compliant
- comply with all applicable laws including GST, consumer protection, labeling rules, and product safety standards
- dispatch orders on time
- cooperate in returns/refunds
- pay applicable taxes (including GST)
- maintain quality standards
- avoid misleading claims and deceptive advertising
- respond to customer queries within reasonable time
Anmol Ghar may charge Vendors commission, service fees, or subscription fees as per Vendor Agreement.
19. FRAUD, MISUSE, AND PLATFORM PROTECTION AND RIGHTS
We reserve the right to:
- cancel orders suspected of fraud
- remove listings or content that violates policies
- block accounts for suspicious activity
- limit access to any User for security reasons
- restrict COD or refund options
- require additional verification
- deny refunds in cases of policy abuse
- modify Platform features or policies without prior notice
20. DISCLAIMERS
20.1 The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
20.2 We do not guarantee that:
- the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free
- the content will always be accurate or updated
- the Website will be free from harmful components
20.3 We do not guarantee:
- accuracy of vendor listings
- availability of all products
- delivery within exact time
20.4 We are not responsible for:
- internet issues
- payment gateway downtime
- courier delays beyond reasonable control
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
21.1 Anmol Ghar shall not be liable for:
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages
- loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data
21.2 Anmol Ghar shall not be liable for:
- vendor product defects
- counterfeit products
- incorrect descriptions
- non-compliance by vendor/manufacturer
- allergic reactions or misuse by customer
- manufacturing defects
21.3 Maximum Liability:
If Anmol Ghar is held liable for any claim, the maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the specific Order giving rise to the claim.
22. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anmol Ghar from any claims, losses, damages, penalties, and expenses arising from:
- your violation of these Terms
- your misuse of the Platform
- Vendor’s breach of laws and Platform’s terms and conditions and other policies including but not limited to product defects, counterfeit products, or misleading listings
- infringement of third-party rights
23. FORCE MAJEURE
Anmol Ghar shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, courier disruptions, payment gateway failures, or internet outages.
24. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform without notice if:
- you violate these Terms
- your activity is fraudulent
- you misuse the Platform
- required by law
25. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
26. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
